The Bonny Method
The Bonny
Method is an effective way to reach into your
inner self and to find a treasure trove of
images, feelings, stories, and memories that help
you to become acquainted with yourself in a whole
new way. The way in is to listen to music, really
listen, while you are relaxed and to let the
music carry you into your inner self. With
Marilyn as your guide and witness, you will be
amazed at what you can experience.
Integrative Psychotherapy
Integrative
psychotherapy incorporates the fundamental
principles of traditional pastoral counseling and
holistic practices to promote healing on all
levels: emotional, physical, mental and
spiritual. Marilyn will work with you to increase
the strengths that you have, discover new ways of
managing current stressors, and create strategies
to assist your movement into a positive
future.
Guided Imagery & Hypnotherapy
Guided
Imagery and Hypnotherapy are methods for focusing
on particular issues that you would like to
change. Relaxing and trusting the gentle
suggestions from Marilyn may enable you to have
less fear and anxiety and to have a stronger
positive sense of your self.
Surgery Coaching
Surgery
Coaching or Pre-Op Support helps you to come
through your surgery with less stress and a
greater opportunity for healing. Surgery coaching
is best started when your doctor sets the date
for your surgery. You will learn simple breathing
exercises, receive a personal relaxation and
visualization tape, and develop comfort
strategies to enhance your well-being during this
experience.
Reiki
Reiki
quickens the body's natural ability to heal and
transform painful suffering. With a treatment,
you will feel deeply relaxed. Other effects could
include softening of tensed muscles, reduction of
pain, a feeling of peaceful energy. Reiki
sessions are gentle, whole body treatments which
you receive fully clothed on a massage
table.
